What is Beard oil?

Beard oil is a men’s grooming product used for centuries as a moisturizing and conditioning agent. When growing a beard, hair growth can deplete the skin of the natural oils (sebum) and trap dead skin cells and bacteria near the skin. Beard oil helps nourish the skin and hair when made with all-natural ingredients. The benefits one can expect to experience from using beard oil will depend entirely upon the natural carrier oils used. Esthete Beard Co. uses a carrier blend that promotes a host of benefits that include but is not limited to:

healthy hair growth
strengthening and repair of hair
natural moisturizing of the skin and hair
softening of beard hair for comfort and ease of grooming
reduction in skin inflammation that helps to provide relief from beard itch, dry, flaky skin, and beard dandruff

What is in beard oil?

All our products are made with all-natural ingredients, known to have intrinsic properties that have been used for centuries to promote health, healing, and wellness. Each Esthete Beard Co. beard oil blend is formulated with some or all of the following natural and organic carrier oils: sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, argan oil, avocado oil, fractionated coconut oil, apricot kernel oil, castor oil, vitamin E oil, and premium essential oils. The essential oils are used primarily for their fragrant properties, providing a soothing and aromatherapeutic benefit. All Blends contain all natural and organic ingredients.

How do I use it?

Beard oil is best applied to a slightly damp beard after showering or washing the face and beard, with or without product. Using beard oil on a somewhat wet beard will allow the moisture to be “locked” into the hair upon application. The amount of beard oil needed will depend mainly on the amount of facial hair worn. For very short beards, as few as 3-5 drops may be sufficient. Place drops into the palm of your hand. Rub hands together to spread the beard oil, then apply evenly to the beard upward to ensure application to the skin under the hair. Massage into the skin and through the beard. Apply more, if needed, before grooming—style as desired.

Additional beard oil may be added in small amounts throughout the day for aromatherapeutic benefit.
